Sally, a senior hearing aid audiologist, has been employed by Hearbase since 1999. In that time she has worked at Sanford Opticians Herne Bay, the Spencer Wing at Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate, Benenden Hospital Cranbrook and at our main office in Folkestone. Sally has worked with both NHS and private patients.

In 2010 Sally was made the main dispenser at The Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury. Here she also provides audiology cover for the ear, nose and throat consultants and sees patients for hearing aid advice and supply.

Sally also works as a dispenser at KIMS hospital in Maidstone.

Sally says the part of her work which she most enjoys is helping patients to hear better and get good value for money. “Technology constantly changes and this means I am able to constantly learn and improve the service I can offer to my patients,” she says.

“Each day brings a new set of challenges, whether it is a patient struggling to get used to hearing again or someone who did not realise that they were deaf. My role in helping these people gives me great satisfaction.”

“Sally has been advising me over hearing aids for several years. Her advice has always been based on meeting my needs and she has found the best hearing aids to help overcome my hearing loss. Her bubbly sense of humour has always made the appointments enjoyable.” Nigel Hale
