Kim has been a receptionist at our Folkestone branch since June 2010 where she works part-time and covers holidays. Her main role is allocating hearing aids when they are delivered, making appointments and helping customers face-to-face and on the telephone. She also deals with and resolves queries and general office duties.
Kim also helps the branch audiologist and checks hearing aids on delivery. She welcomes patients and helps to make their experience with Hearbase a pleasant one.
She completed City and Guilds in hotel reception, housekeeping and accounts at Thanet Technical College. Kim spent 24 years as a hotel receptionist before joining Hearbase. She uses this huge experience and her skills to build an excellent rapport with our customers, both face-to-face and on the phone.
Kim said: “I enjoy nothing more than dotting the I’s and making the tea. I am always happy to have a chat wiith all the customers and I am delighted to see the difference hearing aids make to people’s lives.”
Away from work Kim is either busy with her husband and two teenage children or has her nose buried in a crime novel.
